Why the goofy name and real first entry?

OK, my wife just called me on this. What's with the goofy name...well, I didn't want to use my name which I probably will. But anyway, for now, I'm DanJoe. There is a story behind that, but I'll never share it :)

If you read the story at foxnews.com that I posted, those bloggers hope to:

"In terms of the strength of the group as a political force, Christian bloggers don't just talk religion. They spend much of their time discussing current politics, including the nomination of White House counsel Harriet Miers (search) to succeed Supreme Court Justice Sandra Day O'Connor (search), abortion, intelligent design, the use of "under God" in the classroom and where the Ten Commandments should or shouldn't be placed, among other topics."

I on the other hand want to inspire you to think. How you vote is your choice, but I want you to think about politics and the decisions you make. One thing I abhor is someone using big government to force their beliefs on me or anyone else. Yes, I am a Christian and yes I believe that society is lacking in morals. BUT, that does not mean I want to force them to change their ways. More will come on this, but for now, I savor your mind with but a taste of my titillating keyboard

Why not start a blog?

Well, I was reading a foxnews.com story today and it was talking about Conservatives mixing religion and politics and blogging. I've often thought of doing a blog, but this spurred me on all the more. Why, not sure, but hopefully you will find me and see that I think a little outside the box and can add a very different perspective. Can I add anything, who knows, but from time to time, I'll share different views on different things of life. Be sure to visit the rest of my site.
